Best card for the price

hey i was just wondering what is the best graphics card and or combo you could get for 500$ (no higher than 550) to be able to run any game on max preformance

Make sure you have a very good psu from good brands like seasonic/antec/corsair

The 580 is easily the best single card under $500. However you can get much better performance other ways such as GTX 460s in SLi which performs the same as a 580 but costs $330 instead of $470.

Depending on your resolution you might just need a GTX 560 or something.

Your board needs to support sli and you would need at least a 650w with 4x6 pin connectors

550W would be the power consumption with 2 560s in SLi with an extreme system.

yea i was balancing between a 650W and 750 W earlier ill get the 750 now just to be good
