Hey guys, I was thinking about upgrading my HD4850 in preparation for the behemoths that are BF3, ME3 and Skyrim (to name a few) and was wondering if a GTX560 Ti is enough. Specifically, this 560 Ti: http://www.amazon.com/MSI-N560GTX-Twin-Frozr-II/dp/B0050I1P38 .

Specs:
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO
Phenom II 955 @ stock
Xigmatek DK
500GB Western Digital Green (yeah, I know, it's slow. D: )
500w OCZ ModXStream Pro
Sapphire HD4850 512MB
Generic LG combo ODD
Lexa S

Can my system handle the MSI card? I don't plan on OC'ing it, since that would put more pressure on my PSU. My $200-ish budget doesn't allow for a GPU+PSU upgrade, just one or the other.

Sorry for the double post, but after looking at the card more carefully..I realized it was a plain 560. :pfff: Would my system still be able to handle a 560 Ti or a 6950 1GB?

For a system with a single GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card a 500 Watt or greater power supply with a +12 Volt continuous current rating of 30 Amps or greater and with at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors is recommended.

The OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W (OCZ500MXSP) with its +12 Volt continuous current rating of 36 Amps meets the requirements.

it will be sufficient, i know someone who has been running your exact CPU with a GTX570 on a bit old OCZ gameXtreme 500w. However i would recommend that you upgrade to at least a quality 600w PSU, specially if you plan to overclock. Your CPU is power hungry on stock speeds already, i don't recommend that you try to overclock your CPU on your current PSU
