I thought the Extreme4 only had a 8+2 power phase? While the Fatall1y P67 and Z68 have double of that.

Question for someone to answer: Why is the Fatall1y Z68 better than the P67 version? P67 Version has 6 audio ports (Z68 has 5), more front panel (8 instead of 4), 1 Optical AND 1 Coaxial(the z68 only has optical)

As to OCing, Just about any of the mid priced P/Z boards should hit 4.2->4.6 with easy.
Have Asrock extreme4, no problem with 4.2/4.6. But I like Gigabyte boards, Past 3 builds and they worked/OCed very well.

Look at the Other features, ie SATAII/SataIII ports, UsbII/USBiii ports (For USB3 might look at whoes controller is used). and How are the 2, or3 PCI-e configured.

The Noctua NH-D14 is compatible with RAM modules up to 44mm in height. If you have the model number of the set you have chosen then you can google that and it should take you to G.Skills product page for that set and should have measurements of that set.

the asrock z68 extreme3 gen3 is the best motherboard for the money hands down. it is sli capable, has pcie 3.0 and it looks great with the gold. and of course it is a steal at 125$. No wonder why it is being thrown all over these forums

Thanks for your reply! About the board, is pcie 3.0 backwords compatible? Will it work with a gtx580? And what is the difference between gen3 and b3? :??:

yes it is backwards compatible. gen3 means it has pcie 3.0 and is ready to run ivy bridge. b3 revision is the fixed sata ports. it is on all new motherboards.
