3 way crossfire 6970+5870x2 ?

I have crossfire running with 5870s can I add a 6870 or 6970 for a three-way crossfire . On account the 5870s look like they may be on the extinction list

No, you can only add either a HD 5870 or HD 5850.

You can add 5830 and 5970 to that list (the 5970 is a dual GPU card with 5870's on it downclocked a bit).

yeah I just noticed all of 59 and 58 series are disappearing quickly and possibly my three-way crossfire may be also. I have heard several times now that adding another card just for physics could help so I may have to check that out. Looks like my next build be with the six or 7000 series from what I understand the 7000 series will be out within a year along with the bulldozer in September. Thanks for the Info
