  1. What is your budget? The amd bulldozer 8 core sucks in benchmarks and won't work for you. I suggest something like an i7-2600k, or an i7-3930k or an i5-2500k.
  2. around $200. also what did you mean by "wont work for you"?

    i5-2500k.

Bulldozer is slow, and with the 2500k you can upgrade to ivybridge next year. benchies: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/434?vs=288
  5. another question, i already have an i7 2600k cpu in my gaming computer (just for games) should i buy a i5 2500k and switch them? so i7 in work computer and i5 in gaming computer? whats your advice?

That would be a good option. But do you do anything like 3d applications on your 2600k machine?
  7. in rendering/ modeling? no. ALOT of adobe products mostly open at same time. i know only some software will take advantage of the hyper threads

Then i would put the 2600k into work machine, and 2500k into gaming. You shouldn't know the difference :)
