New Build will not power ON!

Hello,

This is the first computer I have ever put together, so I am a noob. I plugged the PSU plug into the outlet, switched the PSU to ON and pushed the tower power button but nothing turns on, not even the fans or tower LED lights (except for the motherboard STANDBY POWER LED which turns green). Every cable is connected to the motherboard except for a 4 pin that is from the PSU. (I assume this is the problem but please note: I have an 8-pin plugged into the motherboard for EATX12V so the 4 pin cannot be for powering the CPU)

Specs:
Coolermaster HAF 922
Intel Core i5 2500k
Coolermaster V8 CPU cooler
Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 (put into the correct spots as per motherboard user manual A2+B2)
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200PM (I used a SATA 3.0 6GB/S data cable to connect it to the motherboard)
ASUS P8P67 REV3.0 ATX P67 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI USB 3.0 B3 motherboard
ASUS 24x dvd writer
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX 20/24pin modular cables
Arctic Silver thermal paste
ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB
