Topic says it all , im looking for a new gaming rig , NO screen , NO mouse , NO keyboard , only the computer !!

Approximate Purchase Date: in the next 3 months

Budget Range: MAX 1300$ including shipping and taxes

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming for the most part

Parts Not Required: Screen , Mouse , Mousepad , Keyboard , Headphones

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.ca , Ncix.com ( canada ) , any other site i may not know

Country of Origin: Canada

Parts Preferences: Honestly , best for the money , im ONLY gaming , so no multi-mega-giga-big-bang-badaboom-stuff

Additional Comments: im not looking for a computer for show-offs , only a nice comp , that runs nicely , not spending too much money and definetly not something that has a trillion colors !

thanks alot , and just wondering , this rig sounds really nice ! but should i wait for the new AMD proc to come out ??? or i should just stick with the intel i5 sandy ??? i mean ive checked the benchmarks and yeah the only thing that has more score on 3d mark is the i7 sandy .... so i know this proc is really great , but now everyone is just mad crazy about new AMD bulldozer , so should i be looking into that too ??

You could wait for Bulldozer, There are some good results cumming out of people who have been given permission to speak about the product while under NDA and they say its got good capability that will make it worth the while.

Also there are some fake benchmarks out on the net (like OBR's) who just keep bashing Bulldozer with there backdoor-Chinese sample. So I'd say wait for Benchmarks of the retailer version to make a decision.

Post those benchmarks on here please.

and like i said , i trust you if you claim that i5-2500 sandy is the way to go even when the bulldozer will come out .... i mean , last time i even checked the CPU available and understood anything about that , AMD Athlon 64 4000+ was the crazy stuff out there !!!! so as you may think , everything has been changed since then !!!

It will most definitely NOT. Gaming on Sandy Bridge and stock cooler = fail. Get a 212+, you won't regret it.

hey are you fool? NO OFFENCE.but do you think a non overclocker needs something like 212+.its one of the best HSF in the market
i know a few people who are running their 2500k and 2600k @4.0 ghz stable using this cooler.he says that he wont overclock so
why the hell do u think he needs 212+????????????????????????

Because I know it from experience. 212+ is dirt cheap, and yeah, it's one of the best, so no reason in not buying it. I used to get high temps even without OC and with disabled HT and Turbo until I got 212+.

i dont want you guys to argue about a 25$ piece .... i will buy it even though people tell me i might not need it , id rather buy it and be sure that i wont over heat then keeping with the stock model and get heat problems later down the road .... im not stuck with the last penny .... i mean my TOTAL budjet was 2000$ , but with that money im buying

Screen : BenQ XL2410T
Keyboard : Zowie Celeritas
Mouse : Zowie EC-1
Mousepad : Zowie G-TF
Headset : Sennheiser PC-350

and some new sound system for my pc ( probably altec lansing )

so all that will cost around 6-700$ , so thats why im looking for a PC at around 1300$

but like i said , i don't care about the heatsink at all , im gonna buy it , the thing i do care is just i want the best performance for the money , and if people claim that this setup will be the best for 1300$ then that's what im getting !

will do , ill probably post some pic of the complete setup too !

as far as the mobo goes , im currently checking the tomshardware website , and there is a new article about best z68 mobos , should i consider them ?? i know there more exensive , but i mean , a good mobo = a better comp right ? or is the one that why_me told me to buy is enough for my needs ???

That board is a micro atx and has horrible slot spacing for dual cards not to mention that unlike some Asrock and MSI boards it doesn't have PCI-E 3.0 for the new generation vid cards supported by Ivy Bridge.

ive checked the Asus P8Z68 deluxe , it looks very good ! but its alot more expensive then the gigabyte you told me to get , should i consider the asus one anyways ??

i mean , for later down the road??

If your wanting an Asus board then I would consider this one down below.

http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=10530BD2656&vpn=P8Z68-V&manufacture=ASUS $168.69
ASUS P8Z68-V Z68 LGA1155 ATX 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI HDMI DVI Motherboard

thanks , but i don't care about the brand , i mean if its giga or asus or evga , i was just asking because in the review , the asus was stated as the best one out there right now ! thats why i was wondering , but i don't know if gigabyte is better then asus , to be honest im really relying on you haha ( i feel like a dumbass right now )

ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 is the best choice price is $155/-
but it is a P67 mobo. do you really want z68,i mean there many people using p67 without any problem.any ways for z68,consider ASRock Z68 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 @ $180~190/- supports sli n other new features
