I have a noob question:

I am building a rig yet planning to get a monitor later from local retailer (so I can pick one with perfect screen without dead pixels). My MOBO is H67 with a standard HDMI port, and I get a 1920*1080 TV with HDMI port (and HDMI cable), so is it possble I can first build and test my rig using this TV as monitor? It has to fully support the rig from the very beginning otherwise I won't be able to set BIOS or install OS at all.

Thank you!

Yes that is quite possible, and a good way to do things. Generally, monitors have better resolution as compared to TVs. But since this is an interim measure, it is fine.

Wich monitors are superior to 1080p? thats 1900x1080, right? Is there a 2600x1500?

Regarding the question, you can very well get a HDTV and use it regularly as a monitor. Im using Haier 1080p 22" and at that size, I run a 1600x900 resolution.

That is better than my Dell Ultra Sharp 2208WFP set to it's native resolution of 1680 x 1050
