Hello,

I have noticed that sometimes my memory usage goes up to 99% for no reason, it usually starts when I play Battlefield for about 30 minutes, I had 4gb of Ram to play Battlefield and it worked with no problems but it did happen rarely, now I've upgraded to 8gb of Ram, it is still happening rarely. My battlefield 3 fps drops from about 50fps to 0-5fps, at that point I can't do anything so I force close Battlefield 3, and after around 5 minutes, the RAM is still 98%. I don't have any major programs running apart from Steam, Origin and Skype.

OS: Windows 8 64bit

Even when I close down BF3, it's still 99%.

16GB Corsair XMS3 on an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 (Windows 8 Pro 64 bit)

Edit; (cant edit, so need to reply?)

tested my memory today: no errors found by memtest.

So it isn't the memory probably.

Same is happening to me with 64 GBs RAM
memory goes at 99%

My system config:

Intel 3930K 6-core
64 GBs of RAM
ATI HD6950
on an ASUS X79 Deluxe

The system comes back only after rebooting

I am experiencing the same issues. My system specs are:
Windows 8 64 bit (OS)
i7 3770k (CPU)
Corsair Force GT (SSD)
MSI Twin Frozr R7950 HD (AMD GPU)
16gb Corsair Vengeance Low Profile RAM
DZ77GA-70K (Motherboard)
Corsair TX750M (PSU)

The only time it happens to me is when I am playing Battlefield 3 (this is the only game I own for PC). Once I quit out of BF3, my RAM remains at 98-99% usage. My PC has never done this during regular operations like web surfing. I have not tried any memory tests on my system, but I can almost guarantee the issue is with my memory because during the occurence, I check all of my hardware performances and they are functioning fine. Is it possible that we need newer drivers for some of our hardware? Also, another time my memory usage jumped like this I got a BSOD with a notification about a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION and I have no idea what that is, so if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

While I was trying to justify the issue, my RAM usage has been permanently stuck 98-99%. This is even after I turn off my computer and turn it back on. I also had a brief spike with my SSD which shot up to 100% usage temporarily, but that went away on its own after a minute or two.
