Best video card for 180 bucks or less

Hey guys you probably get this question a lot but what is the best video card for 180 bucks or less. I know that there is the hd 6870 and the gtx 560 but i don't know which one is overall the best card.
I want to know which one is the best for temps power usage and overall performance in general.

they are both strong cards, probably best to just figure out what software you're going to be using...and then get any feedback on how those particular cards work with said software. for the price though the 6870 is probably slightly better.

edit: didnt even look at your links until now. when i looked at gtx 560 prices the other day i didnt see that zotac all the way down to 149.99 after rebate. tough one.

well i dont really run much editing software and things like that but I will be doing a ton of gaming so thats pretty much what im buying the card for

Honestly, I'd take whichever card seems to be built better. If I were you, though, I'd go with one of Zotac's 560's. They have a full lifetime warranty and are on par with EVGA's quality, if not better. Just go look at their website... the quality even shows there.A really nice company, Zotac... just relatively unknown/unappreciated for some reason. I don't know why.

That's just what I'd do if I were you. A high quality card for the same price as a low-quality 6870, and with the same performance. Seems like an obvious decision to me.

ok so you think that i should go with the gtx 560 even though it uses more power.


i mean i think this card will do well but i just wanted to here from you guys just to make sure.
