What's a good gaming desk?

I did a little bit of research on the ikea galant desks, and according to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJRpYh3seY0 , it seems you can connect them. What I would really like to do is combine this http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S39835924#/S79836969/ with this http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S19836972#/S29836151/ to form a single, much larger desk. Would that be possible, and would it be decent for gaming?

They don't appear to come with any way to connect them from the factory. So all you need to do, is butt them up next to each other, and connect them with a flat bracket, such as this:

The one on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sB3cPfTMlM4 is precisely the kind of desk I'm wanting, but which galiant desk is it that he's using? I can't find any like his on ikea's website.
