I have built my first PC following the NewEgg 'how to build a PC'. Everything was great and I have had no problems at all in the year and a half since I built it, until now. On turning the power (Sea Sonic X-760) on there is nothing to start with, I unplug the power lead and replace it, I press the power button on the Mobo (asua P8P67), I press the reset button next to it still nothing, I have replaced the computer mains lead, still nothing. Then it is almost as if the PC is shy in the fact that I turn my back on it to try and work it out using my other PC and it suddenly powers up. Now I think I'm going mad so I switch it off and then try and restart it only to have the same thing happen again. When it runs everything if fine, there is a code 80 showing on the Mobo display. I can't find what this could mean so hopefully someone will know. How can I check if it is the power supply or a 'fault' with the mobo? Is there an easy way to check if it is the power supply or could it possbly be the mobo ?
Any help will be most grateful.
