Another New Computer Builder

Hey Guys,

First time building a computer, just want to make sure that I'm not making a foolish mistake picking my parts. I plan on doing some gaming, but I don't mind using minimum specs on high-demand games. I really appreciate your input.

All these parts are from newegg - the prices include shipping:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz $105

ASRock 880GMH/U3S3 AM3+/AM3 AMD 880G $84.50

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) $52

HIS H675F1GD Radeon HD 6750 1GB $105

Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB $55

LG CD/DVD Burner $20

hec Zephyr MX 750 750W $65

HEC Blitz Black Steel Edition ATX Mid Tower Computer $42

Total: $528.50 - My budget is $450-$550

I should point out that I already have monitor, OS, keyboard and mouse.

Thanks again

More about another computer builder
  1. it all looks good to me.
i personally would save for another month. your less than $100 from an fx series processor but if you cant wait this will do.
the 6 core is suposed to be $180-190 so i think the 4 cores will be in the $130-160 range.
  2. Looks like a well thought out build, excep the power supply and the gpu like Adrian says.

I highly recommend both those XFX products.

I'd go a bit larger on the psu though for future upgrades. $49.99 after rebate
