HD4890 vs HD6850

So I am currently in the market for a new card and have noticed that HD6850s are within my GPU price range. I was wondering how much of a difference the HD6850 would make to the HD4890. The 4890 is still 'capable' as long as I don't try to run games on full whack and still makes them pretty so I was wondering if the HD6850 was worth upgrading too.

I found one for fairly cheap so it's not like I'm paying full price for it.

On pure performance hardly worth it but on power consumption and features it is better.

For the price I am looking at, 10-15% is a fair large increase since the price is similar to another HD4890. I'll probably pick it up and wait for the next gen cards to be released and stabilise. Thanks for your help.

If you have a crossfire board and capable PSU, you are better off adding a second 4890 and running them in crossfire.
