4670 vs 5670 (ddr3)

hello everyone,
I am going to upgrade my system soon, and I'm still kinda confused about the graphic card choice.
My choices for now are:
HD 4670 1 GB ddr3 core clock 600 mhz, memory clock 800 mhz
HD 5670 1gb ddr3 core clock 725 mhz, memory clock 600mhz

I cannot choose anything other than those two.
I just want to know which one is better among the two.

The HD 5670 1gb ddr3 core clock 725 mhz, memory clock 600mhz is the updated version of HD 4670 with the inclusion of dx 11 and better performance compared to HD 4670.

So go for the HD 5670 because it is better.

Oh yeah if I overclock the memory up to 800 mhz will it make some noticeable difference without killing the card?

The HD 5670 is about 25% better than the HD 4670.

As for overclocking the memory, that should give you a little better performance. But I'm not sure how much. Best to overclock in increments of 50MHz and check the heat to play it safe.
