I first ran into this problem when playing dead space for the first time in a long time, my moniter lost signal 10 minutes in and I had to restart PC. then after a couple hours of just cause 2 it did it a again, and every time I tried to play deadspace it would do it within 10 minutes or under.

Just cause generally takes a hour or more but it will do it too, and the last time it did it this morning I could still hear the music, and the sound of the car but the car sound seemed to be looping and alt tabbing, hitting esc, ctrl alt delete all did nothing, and I also tried clicking a few times to fire the gun and nothing happened which leads me to believe my computer froze.

So I am pretty positive it is not a monitor problem now, and I am not even sure if its a graphics card problem, whats likely?

Ill give that a try now, I doubt it because of how soon deadspace causes it, but Its worth checking into

Probably not what you meant to do, but I put deadspace in 1024x768 window mod and watched the temp with the catalyst control center, and nothing, never blacked out.

all jokes aside.....keep an eye on those temps......id bet they spike before your crash.....if thats so you may have to get ahold of the cards maker to start an rma process
as long as its not due to poor airflow in your case......
