Hello All,

I'd be very appreciative if you would help me out. I'm running into an error that I can't seem to resolve:

"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media"

I recently updated/rebuilt my machine and am trying to install Windows 7 on it. I keep running into the Reboot error. I searched the Tom boards as well as some others but can't find anything that quite fits what I'm seeing.

Steps taken thus far:
Verified that Windows 7 disk worked (tested on another computer) - Reboot error
Mobo, 1 stick of RAM (tried both), CD Drive, HDD only - Reboot error
Cleared CMOS - Reboot error
Different SATA ports and SATA cords - Reboot error
Downloaded Ubuntu iso onto USB and set USB as first boot priority - Reboot error

Through these steps I have confirmed that the boot priority is set as appropriate for whatever test I was running. Additionally, the motherboard is recognizing all of the hardware.

Next steps:
Flash latest BIOS and try again.
Other Suggestions?

Additional Background:
I picked up a new motherboard, case, RAM, and processor. The optical drive, hard drives, and power supply were salvaged from my old machine. I formatted the Seagate hard drive and was planning on doing a fresh install of Windows to it on the new machine. I have a retail copy of Windows 7 Home Premium.

Build:
Motherboard - ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP
Memory - Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Processor - Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
Optical Drive - SAMSUNG 18X DVD±R DVD Burner - Model SH-S183L
Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda ES ST3500630NS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA
Video Card - Recent AMD card, don't remember exact make/model, will post after I check

Thanks for looking, any input is appreciated.
