I have a user that has commented several files in Windows Explorer. We
have added the column from "Choose Details" so he can see the comments
there but according to MS's website and help for Windows XP he should
also be able to see the comments in the Left Pane (Common Tasks Pane).
All the machines I have tested this on are running Windows XP
Professional SP1.
Problem is that the comments don't appear. The only information that
shows is Name, Type, Date Modified, Size and Author.
This user is very adamant about wanting this feature so any
help/information anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Even if the
only information is that the KB article is wrong, that would be great
to know so I can stop chasing this.
