Is my memory compatible? F3-12800CL9D - i7-3820

Hi Guys,

When selecting ram for my new i7-3820 / LGA2011, per details of the CPU, I figured any DDR3-1600 / quad channel ram would do. So I bought some G.Skill RipJaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL. After receiving them, I noticed it said compatible with LGA1155/LGA1156. Will I be able to use this stuff? Thanks in advance!

It'll be fine. The "Compatible with LGA 1155/1156" stuff is just marketing BS, nothing more.
