LCD burn in on screen even possible after 10-30 minutes?

Hey folks,

Can an LCD monitor burn in after a static image is displayed for about 10-30 minutes?

I have been trying to find an answer to this but have been unsuccessful.

not likely. I didnt think it was at all possible to burn in images on an LCD. I know it can happen to lcd projectors but thats because of the immense amnount of light that goes through the lcd panel.

LCDs do not have "burn in" issues. They have "image retention" issues which means while something may look to "burnt in", the image will fade over a short time. Image retention generally does not occur unless that same image is displayed in the place on the screen for hours upon hours.
