OCZ StealthXStream 700W good enough for GTX 460 SLI system?

Hey guys,

So like the topic says, I am looking to revamp my old hd 4850/Phenom 550BE system by upgrading to a EVGA GTX 460 SLI 1GB SLI/Phenom II X4 955 system and was hoping on some insight from you guys whether the PSU I currently have, a StealthXStream 700W from OCZ would be enough.

Here is what the final system will look like:

- 2 x EVGA 460 GTX 1GB [in SLI] w/ a slight factory overclock.

- Phenom II X4 955 BE @ stock.

- 4 GB ram DDR3 1066 Hz

- 1 TB Seagate @ 5400 RPM [or 7200 rpm, not sure atm]

- OCZ StealthXStream 700W

Thank you guys in advance and if you guys have any other questions, please ask. :D

With the GTX460 using 10w less than the GTX560Ti I'd say you would be good to go as I'm running a pair of GTX560Ti's on a Corsair HX620w PSU.
  2. that psu is fine for 460 sli
  3. I forgot to mention that I would need to use molex to 6 pin converters for both cards so they would run something like this:

    1 6pin + 2 molex converted to a single 6 pin.

I would rather have both cards atleast connected to one ACTUAL 6 pin connector.

Would you still say it will work? (I believe EVGA ships the molex converters with the GPU so the quality should be fine, right?)
