I'm upgrading to the intel i7 2600k, but I know very little about motherboards. What is the cheapest option for a motherboard that has this LGA 1155 socket, would fit a GTX 550 Ti, and would have the capability to overclock?

Thanks.

is this a new build?

or do you have a case already?

some basic thoughts

I would go with a P67 chipset mobo
allows OCing and newer ones with a BIOS upgrade might support Ivy Bridge
cost wise they are reasonable

also go with a ATX size if your case supports it

gives more room for bigger cards

but again size of card is also dependent on case

so need to know what case you have or plan to get

I already have a case, its a really old case, but its plenty big that will fit about anything.

I'll look into the P67. My biggest concern is the ability to OC, I just would like to stay under 100 bucks, and spend that money elsewhere rather than on the motherboard.
