More about directx video card
  1. That means your video card needs to be able to use DirectX 9 graphic effects and have at least 128MB of dedicate graphics/video RAM on the graphics card.

The first DX9 video card from nVidia was the GeForce 5xxx series which was released back in 2003.

The first DX9 video card from ATI (now called AMD) was the Radeon 96xx and 98xx series back in 2003.

The first Intel chipset to have DX9 support were the 910G, 915G and 915Gx. Those were released back in 2005 and they had the GMA 900 graphics core.

Of course those cards are pathetically weak by today's standards since they are 6 or 7 generations old. Intel graphics cores has always been weak and are not suitable for games.
