Help me choose a new graphics card!

Ok here are my system specs as of now,

Core i5 2500K CPU
Asrock p67 extreme4 MB
8GB Corsiar Memory
650w coolermaster PSU

The only thing I need to complete my build is a new graphics card and I have about £180 to spend. At first I had my heart set on the GTX 560 Ti but then I was looking around and the 1GB versions of the Radeon 6950 are about the same price! So can anyone shed some light on both these two or recommend a different one because I want to go buy today ? Thanks

Both are good cards, at 1920*1080 resolution both performs nearly same
gtx 560ti is a very good overclocker and can get the performance of 6970 at max overclock
6950 can be unlocked to a 6970 by bios modding
at resolutions higher than 1920*1080 6950 will perform much better than 560ti
it is all up to your resolution
so what is your resolution?

well the monitor i got has a max resolution of 1920 x 1080 so im guessing thats what ill be using?

yes.. go for gtx 560ti, that will be a better option
