How to update bios for p8h61-mlx

Hi, I have an Asus mother p8h61-mlx, and processror i5-3450 LGA 1155. Does it work are these able to support each other?

With a BIOS update, yes they're compatible, BUT you need a Sandy Bridge CPU installed to do that (can't do it any other way).

As far as how to do it, you just use EZ Flash 2 right in the BIOS itself by putting the BIOS file on a FAT32 formatted USB stick.
