Hi can anyone tell me how to fix my connect. It keeps disconnecting and I must turn my modem off for half an hour for it to come back on.

In event viewr, I get this message...

You could have a bad nic. You could alao have a problem wih your modem. Try a different nic to see.

My neighbor got this all the time until he bought a new modem. His old one would just overheat (almost to hot to touch) and disconnect. Does your modem get extremely hot?
