I am disassembling my computer and the ATX connector and the 6 pins plug on my video card are hard to remove. I know that there is latch that I need to press but I still need to put some effort and wiggle motion in removing them which kinda scare me because the PCB flexes a bit.

Shouldn't they just easily slide out once you press the latch?

not necessarily. how much force is pretty subjective/relative but it may take a little tug, i've come across some that will basically fall out or some that take a little effort. Just make sure that you counter the force by holding the card, dont make your motherboard clip hold all that pressure
