My friend has a lots of issues with programs crashing and such, so could it be caused by his power supply?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

his gtx 460 is plugged into a 6-pin and 2 3-pin pci-e power connectors
he also has a core 2 duo, 4 gb ram, a single hdd, and cd/dvd drive

ok, I thought that might be a good (well, would definitely be a good choice)
would a quality 650w psu (antec, corsair, seasonic) be able to easily power that system?

A quality 500w is only required but it never hurts to have a little more power.
