hello everyone,

i am building my first desktop here and im just not sure as to which MOBO to go with!

price should be no more then 150$
i will be using this for gaming and i do plan to OC

As slcmike said, the motherboard you chose depends entirely on the CPU you plan to use (you need a motherboard with the same socket as your CPU).

Popular sockets are 1155 for SandyBridge (i3, i5, i7) and AM3 or AM3+ for AMD CPUs.

If you ever want to xfire/SLI this board will not cut it because it only has one PCIe x16 slot. Its a decent board but there are better boards for less out there. By the way...I find Amazon rarely beats out newegg so always check there first!

yea i always check amazon lol. thank you for your help...i just order the asus p8p67 board...lets see how it rocks. another quick question..do you know if the pro version is worth getting?
