Hi

I am building a pc for gaming, the components I will be using are below. I am looking at a motherboard for the gaming build, I want it capable of running 2 graphics card at a later date if possible and at a decent pci-e speed as I have heard when you have a second card it can be slower or something.

Don't know much on motherboards, any recommendations I have found these 2, are they any good if not any recommendations at a similar price?

how come you are telling me to get a lower processor, even if its not unlocked surely its better to have a faster processor?? Not built a pc before so dont know all the ins and outs. As some game specs recommend 3.0GHz processor speeds and this will just be over surely 3.4GHz is better than having 3.1GHz??

secondly would those motherboards I linked be any good if I wasnt to use crossfire because thinking about it, its highly unlikely I will get a second graphics card and dont want to spend so much on a motherboard.

Thirdly lol, referring to the PSU, would you recommend that psu over the Corsair TX 650W?

Thanks for the help

because you wont see any difference in performance. that little 400mhz wont do anything to speed your rig up noticably

no they are not good for crossfire but are ok for regular use. if you are though, id suggest this board instead. z77 is useless to you if you dont overclock

as for the power supply, they are the same units inside. pick the cheaper one

Ahh thats good, will be saving a bit of money on the processor then, cheers.

So that will be capable to run i5, xfx radeon 7870 and get the best out of them for gaming? I will be gaming on arma 2 and arma 3 when released?

I was recommend however to get a z77 even though i wouldnt be overclocking, is there any other advantages to them or not?
