I want to build a system based around an affordable Fermi based nvidia card. I would like to use an AMD CPU. Can anyone suggest mobo/cpu/gpu combinations? I would like to stay under $500 or $600.
Thanks,

Approximate Purchase Date: Next Two Weeks
Budget Range: $500-$600
System Usage from Most to Least Important: OpenGL/CUDA development
Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com
Country of Origin: USA
Parts Preferences: NVIDIA (Fermi) Required, AMD
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: no
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200, HDMI
Additional Comments: I would like a quiet PC

As for not combining NVIDIA and AMD Concurrent computers does this in in some of their iHawks... If they aren't concerned, neither am I....

Too generic. Not enough information.

Please fill out the new build form in the new build section.

Usually you build around a cpu/motherboard, not a video card.

I'll do that, however, in this case, the video card is driving my system. It HAS to be NVIDIA Fermi. No options.

500-600 isn't a lot for a gaming machine.

I would not mix AMD with Nvidia, and please fill out the thread that Geek is referencing.
