So I just built my first pc the other day, and I've encountered a problem. When I press the power switch all of the fans (3 case fans and the heatsink fan) all spin for about 1 second and then just stop, the pc doesn't make any noises associated with startup at all, the little led light under the lightninig symbol on my case does flash for the second or two the fans spin. I haven't installed the operating system yet since I can't get the pc to start up. I really don't want my investment to be wasted, pleas help!.

Here's a few pointers. I would also check youtube. Your issue may be ram or power supply related. Start be reseating the ram or trying each stick in dimm slot one. Then go from there. I also recommend a bare post on wood or cardboard.

I forgot to mention I did reseat the heatsink fan since I somehow did it wrong the first time.
