I ordered a setup in a store and had them assemble the components. They told me they already tested it, but when I got home no image is shown.

Setup:
AEROCOOL XPREDATOR BLACK
FONTE DE ALIMENTAÇÃO XFX PRO750W CORE EDITION
MOHTERBOARD ASUS P8Z68-V SKT 1155
CPU INTEL 1155 I5 2500K BOX (3,30GHZ)
CPU COOLER SCYTHE MUGEN 2
GSKILL PC3-12800 8GB RIPJAWSX CL9 (2X4GB) DDR3
HDD SAMSUNG 1TB SERIAL ATA II 32MB CACHE
LG GH22NS70 SATA BLACK BULK
Keyboard LOGITECH MEDIA 600 USB
TP-LINK TL-WN781ND PCI EXPRESS ADAPTER WIRELESS
GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX570 SO 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-E

What I did:
1 - Connected the tower and monitor to the power.
2 - Connected the tower to the monitor using VGA.
3 - Turned on the power switch (tower).
4 - Turned on the monitor and set it to vga, plugged in usb keyboard and usb mouse.
5 - Turned on the tower.
6 - Tower powers up, I hear fans but the monitor shows the image vga no display.

Also tryed with dvi and hdmi cables to no avail.

Please help me if you can :??:

Hi

Did you try connecting the monitor to the motherboard (DVI,VGA) connectors as well as the connectors on your video card.. they may have disabled one of them in BIOS.

let us know if this helps...

It worked. I though they existed for the purpose of multiple monitors.

I´m typing on my new rig as I speak, my laptop will used to work only now :)

The performace difference even on simple windows tasks is gigantic, the temps are amazing, I can control my pc usage from a asus app, I´m impressed.

Thanks for the help, it was a beginner´s mistake to be honest :p
Will try my games later to see how it performs.
