I saw Peter Molyneux speak about a month ago and he said similar things.
Very cryptic but he said (roughly) "The future of games will lie not in
the hardware but in the control system" and then he mentioned Nintendo
nonspecifically. What was interesting was a) the glint in his eye when
he said this and b) That he was miming gripping a controller as he did
this as if he was remembering something. I mentioned to my friend at the
time "I bet he's seen the revolution controller". Molyneux seemed very
excited.
He also showed an amazing demo that had the player altering objects
around him in almost a plasticine type way. I thought it looked amazing.
It looked like the game could have been played on a PC though.
