EVGA GTS 450 overclocked vs XFX 6790

I am getting both of them at the same price so which one is better

if both were on stock clock 6790 is better. i think even overclocked GTS450 still get beaten by stock 6970. 6790 was meant to beat GTX550 Ti

This once again proves that nvidia cards are not for those with a tight budget as GTX 550 TI is more expensive than 6790

when 6970 first comes out the price is almost the same as GTX550Ti. back then GTX460 768MB only a few bucks more but the performance difference is quite significant and most reviewer site agreed that 6970 was solid performer but not so on the value.

but i believe amd and nvidia cards is quite competitive to each other in terms of price these days.
