Are P61, P65, P67 future proof?

Are chipsets P61, P65, P67 good to be bought now? Will they support Ivy Bridge? the three of them?

In short, is it good to have them now?

More about future proof
  1. This link might be useful for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_1155

IvyBridge should also be backwards compatible with SandyBridge motherboards. B65, H61, H67, P67, Z68

"Ivy Bridge is the codename for the yet-to-be released 22 nm die shrink of Sandy Bridge. Ivy Bridge processors will be backwards-compatible with the Sandy Bridge platform.[6] According to a leaked Intel roadmap, Ivy Bridge processors will be released in March-April 2012."
  2. With Intel, nothing is 'really' future proof.
