Im upgrading my PC and I'm just curious if anyone knows the capabilities of the GTX 560Ti. Im buying the card so I can max out:

Skyrim (@1920x1080)
Mass Effect 3 (@1920x1080)
Portal 2 (@1920x1080)

and other games comming out next year (Im hoping to get about at least 12 months of game releases which I can max out )

Can the 560Ti pull this off? or would the 6950 (1GB) be a better choice?

The 560ti is a great card with very good performance at 1980x1020. At that resolution, it is hand in hand with the 6950 1GB. Either card you chose will get you very good performance. However, if you ever plan on using more than one monitor or gaming and a higher resolution than that, the 6950 2GB will outperform the 560ti because of the higher GB bandwith on it. The 1Gb will still perform the same.

Either one should be able to "max out" all but the most demanding games for the next year for sure at that resolution without much problem. Make sure you have a decent power supply for them (at least 600w of a quality brand) and do some research on which one to get. They definitely start to differ in overclocking performances.
