Help Troubleshooting 8600GT

Hi, i have an 8600GT Nvidia Geforce GPU.
last night while playing a game i noticed some lag.
On checking the GPU temperature it had shot upto 114 C.
I opened the chasis to check and the GPU fan wasn't spinning.
On a little push the fan started spinning and after letting it cool for a while on rebooting the fan is spinnign but there is no output and display remains blank on both DVI and Analog connection.
The onboard output is giving display.
I tried the GPU on another system and the same problem occurs.

Any ideas as to what it could be. Is my GPU dead ?

Yup, your GPU is probably dead. The 8600GT is pretty low end for gaming so maybe it's not a bad thing to get a new card
