Can a processor cause a motherboard not to beep

Hello, please i have a problem with my motherboard; no beep, fan turns, power light is on, no display please help. thanks

yes !! a damage processor can cause it not to beep. but try to reseat the rams first, or remove them, youl get long beeps with out them, just to prove the procie and board are alive, BTW did you connect the atx connector usually beside thr cpu socket 4pin or 8pin
