How to get an old Tyan Tiger 100 to recognize more than 1GB

Hi everyone!

I have a Tyan Tiger 100 motherboard running BIOS V2.00.02 (032920001530). Yes, it's from 12 years ago. The Intel 440 BX chipset.

According to the manufacturer, the maximum memory is 1GB. But I was wondering if anybody knows some tricks to get it to accept and recognize more than 1GB of system RAM.

(I have 1GB sticks, and tried putting them all into the slots. Machine boots fine, and 1GB is recognized, but nothing more).
