We need more information than that. A motherboard manufacturer and model number, and a PSU manufacturer and model number would be helpful. While your motherboard probably has the appropriate slot for the card we do need to know more about the PSU. PSU quality varies widely depending on who manufactures them. Some "650 Watt" power supplies will not be able to provide even half of what they advertise for any extended period, or they have more power on their +3.5V or +5V rails, which won't do you any good for a video card, which needs more power on the +12V rail.
