Ok, What will you choose?
Sapphire 5830 xtreme-- 130$
Sapphire 6770 -- 150$
Sapphire 6790 -- 190 $
Sapphire 6850 -- 210$
Gigabyte/XFX 460 1GB --220$

These are the prices of mid range card in Bangladesh.

Please give me some advice, I have Thermaltake TR-2 550w PSU.

Here's the power consumption for most of those cards. The only one not listed is the HD 6790. Also note that the HD 6770 is really just a renamed HD 5770. The HD 6790 probably uses around 80w of power when playing games.

Generally speaking, the fastest to slowest card is as follows:

GTX 460 - 1GB
HD 6850
HD 5830
HD 6790
HD 6770

See following review of these cards (excluding the HD 6790) benchamrked:

Overall, the HD 6850 would be the best in terms of performance and power consumption. The

The GTX 460 - 1GB is the best card when it comes to price and performance.

Based on the relatively small price difference between the HD 6770 and the performance with the other cards, the HD 6770 is not really a good value card unless you are looking for the cheapest video card. If you can, look for the older HD 5770 for better price / performance; AMD added HDMI 1.4a and some other minor tweaks that will not make a difference to most people and just renamed the card to the HD 6770.

The HD 5830 is give very good performance for the price. The only problem is that it uses the same amount of power as the HD 5850 and is less powerful than the HD 6850.

WOW 5830 is faster than 6790!
So if I buy 5830 and save some money, will it last next 1-1.5 years? Then I can upgrade to 78XX.
My display is 1280*1024. What about my PSU?

The 5830 is one hell of a card for the money, the rest of them cant come close in terms of value and performance for the money.
Given your monitor resolution it will hold you for the year or so it will take for the 7 series to come out.
Your PSU is SLI ready and has the 2 PCIE cables needed so should be fine with the card.

I actually have a PC with a 5830 from XFX on a 1920 x 1080 monitor and it plays most games with out issue. Sure some games need details turned down but given your resolution you should be able to very nearly max most games as long as your CPU is up to it.

Mactronix :)

The HD 5830 is marginally faster than the HD 6790; meaning the difference it relatively small, like 5% at most. Also, I have seen some benchmarks where the HD 6790 beats the HD 5830 by a little as well. But overall the HD 5803 is marginally faster.

As for issues with AMD/ATI drivers, I haven't really encountered any that I can recall. I've own 5 ATI cards and 3 nVidia cards.

Actually, make that 4 nVidia cards since I just ordered a laptop with a nVidia card in it.
