Ok, What will you choose?
Sapphire 5830 xtreme-- 130$
Sapphire 6770 -- 150$
Sapphire 6790 -- 190 $
Sapphire 6850 -- 210$
Gigabyte/XFX 460 1GB --220$

These are the prices of mid range card in Bangladesh.

Please give me some advice, I have Thermaltake TR-2 550w PSU.

HD5830, best performance/price, but most crippled of them all,
the next worst crippled would be the 6790......crippled bart.

Best performance/watt would be the 6850 IMO,

I disagree. All things considered the Sapphire Radeon HD6770 Vapor-x (specifically) is the best buy.

Reasons :
- Higher Clock Rate.

- 2 x DVI ports (The 6850 only has one, MAJOR NONO)

- For the price the specs are great!

- In real world scenario the 6770 performs better cash for price than the 6790, although the 6790 on paper should be MUCH better, it doesn't.

- Finally the Vapor-x is unlocked for overclocking and has a very large margin before it reaches dangerous levels of overclocking.

All in all, go for the HD6770 Vapor-x for a longer lasting, more versatile card!

This makes no sense. The HD5830 is both cheaper and faster than either of the cards you are talking about. It's pretty obviously the best choice for the money from the prices given.

The HD5830 and HD6790 are not really "crippled." They are intended to play games and they do so. They are larger and use slightly more power for the given performance compared to cards of the same series because they are based on superior cards with purposely weakened capabilities. This is no reason to avoid them if the price/performance is right IMO and it certainly is here.
He could get an HD6850 but it will only be 10-15% faster while costing over 60% more. That the HD5830 uses 15-20w more under load doesn't even come close to making up for that IMO.

With that reasoning you might as well go for the HD6790, don't you think? The 6830 and 6850 are not much faster.
