1st PC Gaming Build Advice

Hello everyone,

I am looking to build my 1st PC gaming build very soon, and I need an honest critique of everything I am deciding on purchasing to complete my PC build in a month or possibly around the end of the year. My main concerns are the motherboard, is ASROCK dependable and durable as compared with other mainstream companies as ASUS and GIGABYTE? Should I spend a bit more for that or stick with what I have? Also is the video card overkill or should I go with something cheaper? Also I am looking to wait on buying a SSD, because I believe right now they are highly overpriced obviously because they are the new hot thing for gaming. I am looking to mainly game with this and some minor networking programs for my college classes, but thats about it for PC use. Thank your for your help and I appreciate the advice!!

Here is my system down below,
