Max Bandwidth Problem

Hello!

I was wondering if someone could please, help me! :-)

I'm newbie but I'm going to try to explain the problem...
I changed my motherboard from Asus P8Z68-V Pro to ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 and now the Max Bandwidth does not look right.
XMP profile is configured, 2133MHz with [ RipjawsX ] F3-17000CL9D-8GBXLD

100% compatible, I did check it in http://asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme4/index.us.asp?... before buy the motherboard.

Max Bandwidth PC3-12800 (800MHz) does not look right, is it?

Copy, Read and Write on Asus P8Z68-V Pro was at least 24k+

You might need to go into the BIOS and re-apply an XMP profile or manually configure the memory. Motherboards don't always default the memory to the rated specifications, especially when those specifications are above DDR3-1333 or DDR3-1600 with timings below 9-9-9-24.

I have tried it before looking for help, I tried manual configuration 9-11-9-28 2N, 2133MHz. Auto, XMP, still the same.

The CPU-z looks correct, the highest 'SPD' (JEDCEC #6) encoded in the RAM modules is DDR3-1600 (800MHz); don't confuse 'SPD' with Rated. As far as MaxMEM your results look within expected values; overclocking the CPU makes a very significant impact on those R/W numbers and yep to a degree the MOBO (including BIOS settings).

Q - What values are listed under the 'Memory' tab in CPU-z?
Q - Are you comparing before and after with the same CPU clocks?

I wouldn't be overly concerned especially on synthetic benchmarks that have no to very (very) minimal real world implication.

IMO - I see little reason to 'upgrade' a SB CPU to a Z77 chipset, not to mention the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro is a superior MOBO. PCIe 3.0 on any 2-WAY CF/SLI won't add do much if anything <1%.

I did not 'upgrade'. I did not turn off my computer during a thunderstorm and my old Asus P8Z68-V Pro does not work anymore. So I had to buy a new MOBO, seems that ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 is a good one, http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/z77-express-ivy-bri...

So, it wont affect my computer performance? primary gaming.

Memory performance is generally insignificant for the LGA 1155 socket platforms in gaming. Not many games that I'm aware of would be helped by faster memory and the few that I can think of wouldn't be helped much anyway.

Well I've had that happen before and nope it's not fun. ASUS may have warrantied the MOBO or if you have an UPS or Surge Protector many of them carry insurance for replacement.

Gaming performance - very (very) little (+0~1 FPS if that) then before or after. In 1920x1080 the most I've seen between DDR3-1333 vs DDR3-2400 has been +0~+4FPS; lower resolutions I've seen more +6~+8FPS. I really don't recommend ultra fast RAM because it adds a large burden of instability with little to no gain. I realize you have DDR3-2133 RAM and for the DDR3-2400 comparison I'm illustrating extremes.
