More about gaming build
  1. Fill in the new build template, and we'll take it from there :)
  2. I'd not take Novatech PSU and GPU. Haven't heard of them.
  3. Approximate Purchase Date: Next Week

    Budget Range: £1000-£1100

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Parts Not Required: Just PC build.

    Preferred Website(s) for Parts:

    Country of Origin: UK

Parts Preferences: Gigabyte Motherboard, Intel CPU(pref i7), Nvidia graphics.

Overclocking: Would like to build a PC that could be in the future.

    SLI or Crossfire: Eventually yes.

    Monitor Resolution: 1080

Additional Comments: I want a machine primarily for gaming.
  4. For gamig step down to i5-2500k
  5. If your buying within the UK, here's a few good sites to check out:

    Motherboard: ASRock Extreme4 Gen3 £147
    CPU: i5-2500k £163
    GPU: Gigabyte 6970 £285
    PSU: XFX 850w SILVER £95
    HDD: SpinPoint F3 £43
    SSD: 128GB Crucial M4 £134
    Optical Drive: Samsung DVD-RW £14
    Case: CM Storm Enforcer £70
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz £45
    CPU Cooler: Hyper 212+ £22

    Total: £1018

    i7-2600k £237

    £1092 total with i7-2600k instead of i5-2500k.

Be aware though an i7-2600k wont give you anymore FPS than an i5-2500k. In terms of gaming they perform the same.

Yeah I live right next to Novatech's Main base so it's very convenient for me.
