Wanting to swap over components to another case

i have 2 computers 1 is a hp pavillion 061 compact the other is home build i was wondering is it possible to move all the components over to the other case leaving behind the slot in media drive that hp has put on it? i want to move the power unit, mobo, pcu & cards. is this possible?

A few concerns:

1) Motherboard Compatibility. Make sure the HP Pavilion motherboard form factor (ATX, Micro-ATX, BTX) matches something the new case will accept.

2) Power Supply Compatibility. Make sure the HP Power supply will transfer into the new case.

3) Front Power/Reset/HD Activity Light connections. Make sure the new case connections will connect up properly with the HP motherboard.

4) Front USB connections. Does the HP Motherboard have all the front USB connections you'll need with the new case?

Get past all this and you should be good to go.
