AMD or Intel: I was planning on AMD since its cheaper and very reliable but many people say Intel is very good for gaming (preferably 2500K )
^---------^

GPU: I was going for the 6950s but people also say the 560s are good too. so which one or neither

Motherboard: this depends on what cpu im choosing so i guess ill wait and see.... unless you guys want to recommend a good Intel/AMD board?

I think the rest of the build i pretty much have it covered but if you have any suggestions please tell me!

For the case I'll see how much spending money I have left to either pick a really good-looking case

Solution
waiting for bulldozer to come out is like waiting for duke nukum forever to come out which just happed close to 10 years later and even if it does come out it may only be a small percentage better then an i7 anyway

You should wait for the Bulldozer and 7XXX series to come out if you can wait a month or 2. They'll probably cause price drops and help you save money. But if you can't, you should get a gtx 570 as it is one of the best graphics cards in the market but if you can't afford it, the 6950 is best for peformance per dollar. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html As for the cpu, waiting for the bulldozers is a good choice because Intel will finally have competition against their Sandy Bridge CPU's as the Bulldozers have a good chance of at LEAST matching the i5 2500k and beating it in price and that will cause a price drop in practically the entire CPU market. The case, if you want a good looking case, then get an AZZA case they have beastly LEDS cases for low prices. For the mobo, get a Gigabyte 990FX if your going for AMD and a Gigabyte Z68X will work great for Intel.
