Can an N router disrupt my cordless phones? Since installing it, my 3 cordless

Since installing my new N router by NetGear, my 3 cordless phones thruout the house are no longer working. They have power but when you try push the button to answer or the button to hang up - there is nothing. Can this be a "side effect" of the new router?
