Computer runs but monitor doesnt

so i bought my new computer yesterday my computer runs but my monitor doesnt show anything i have tried my monitor on another pc and it works and my pc have been worked on another monitor my pc specs are :
amd phenom ii x6 1090t BE
8gb ram
gigabyte radeon 2gb 6950
gigabyte 880gaud3h motherboard
and my monitor is samsung syncmaster 920nw 19inch
